Precision Dynamics Corporation – St. John, a leading global provider of patient safety identification and healthcare labeling solutions, has announced the promotion of Peter Resnick to executive vice president and chief operating officer. In his new position, Resnick will continue his oversight of Precision Dynamics – St. John’s integration efforts. He will also assume increased responsibilities including leadership of the company’s operations and human resources functions, as well as accelerating acquisitions to grow the company’s presence in North America and Europe. Resnick joined Precision Dynamics – St. John in January 2011, when Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC) merged with The St. John Companies Inc. (St. John) to become the world’s leading provider of identification and related patient safety solutions. At the time, Resnick served as chief operating and financial officer for St. John, and was appointed executive vice president and chief integration officer for the newly combined company. “As COO, Peter will provide leadership to ensure that internal cross-functional initiatives that are critical to serving our customers are flawlessly executed, “ said Cecil Kost, president and chief executive officer, Precision Dynamics – St. John. “During his time with Precision Dynamics – St. John, Peter has demonstrated the quality of leadership and high standards that are important to our company’s focus on providing our customers with outstanding products and services that support their goals of patient safety and efficient care management.” “I am delighted to be afforded the additional responsibility of driving the company’s operational plans and support our growth initiatives,” said Resnick. “I’m equally excited to work more closely with the operations team that has established a world-class team and manufacturing facilities under the leadership of Hosmel Galan.” Resnick has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in finance and operations. Prior to serving as chief operating and chief financial officer of The St. John Companies, Resnick was vice president and corporate controller at Bell Industries. Prior to Bell Industries, he held a variety of finance positions, culminating in the position of assistant corporate controller at Superior Industries International, Inc., an OEM of automotive parts, and at the international public accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath. Resnick is a CPA and holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Southern California.
